Our sweet little (or not so little!) Olivia turned 2 on December 23rd! Here is a little about her-
-She LOVES her baby brother! She likes to give him kisses and likes to help take care of him
-Is getting SO good at talking, I would guess her longest scentance was at least 6 words,
She was grumpy and afraid of the candles, and hated the singing! |
-Loves going to nursery (although at the beginning we need to get her distracted to leave)
-Has lived in 3 different houses in 3 different cities (Salt Lake, Highland, and Orem UT)
-Loves to jump, dance, and run around- especially when there is music on.
-Favorite songs currently are All About that Bass, The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Let it Go from Frozen (although she has probably only seen the movie two times)
-Favorite shows are Peppa Pig and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
-Loves her milk!
- Favorite food is still rice and beans like last year, although she is slowly starting to eat more things.
-Is (usually) a big helper and goes to grab things or put them away when asked
-Likes to help mix and cook
-Loves to be outside
-Favorite person is Grandma West and then Uncle Thatcher (with Mom and Dad in their randomly depending on her mood)
-Loves making messes, especially with small objects (Kinetic sand, beads, buttons- you get the point)
-Likes to read books
-Is currently getting her Cuspid (I think that is what they are called) teeth in... All 4 at once!
-Likes to hang out with Mom and Brother all day, but LOVES when dad walks through the door!
-Is afraid of loud dogs and running cars (or really any loud noise)
Mailing Christmas cards on her Birthday |
Just recently we were at the store checking out. Olivia looked over the counter and said "Hi" and wave to the cashier. Once she responded, Olivia pointed at herself, and a little unsure of how to do it said "Me... I Ali'ia (in the cute little way she says her name)".
I am so proud of her confidence! It is amazing to have been able to watch her grow and develop over the last two years.
